This is an urban photography project — shot in the dark or lowlight around the city of Coventry.
The idea was to show off the city when light is scarce. Nothing more than that. I chose to shoot in ACROS (with the red filter) film simulation mode. I figured that black and white would work well for the photos I was looking for.
I shot these photos hand-held on my Fujifilm X-T4. It has IBIS (in-body image stabalisation) so shooting right down at 1/3 sec is possible.
I called the project the 'The Silent City' simply because I was out very early in the morning and therefore, there weren't many people around. I did that on purpose, to get shots of nearly empty streets.
